Lambourn RDA is a member group of The Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), which is a charity that makes a difference and excels as a provider of disability sport.

The group is based at Manor Farm Stables in Chilton Foliat, RG17 0TJ. It is a very friendly group providing riding sessions five days a week throughout the year, subject to weather. We cater for participants with a wide range of abilities, both children and adults.

The group is completely self-supporting and our annual running costs are around £75,000, so if you would be interested in finding out how you could help us raise funds or give a donation we would love to hear from you.

Costs

We make a small charge for all our sessions, either individual riding and non riding sessions or there is also the option to join a group session, subject to availability and suitability.

Activity Period

Monday 2.30 and 5.00pm. Tuesday between 9.00 and 12 noon. Wednesday between 12.30 and 5.00pm. Thursday between 9.00- 12.00noon, Saturday by appointment. We run riding and non-riding therapy sessions on an individual or group basis. Each new participant is assessed for suitability.

A new participant application form will need to be completed. Depending on the applicants disability, a medical referral letter may be requested by the Group.

    We aim to respond within a week of receiving an application, followed by a face to face meeting at a convenient time at the stable yard for an individual assessment.

    We aim to keep our charges as low as possible in order to make our services as accessible as possible. We have a range of charges depending on whether it is an individual or group session and whether it is a riding or non-riding therapy session. Details of our charges will be provided on application.
